Discipline and School Rules
At Barnes School & Junior College, we emphasize on discipline as we believe:
"Discipline may be boring in process but the end result is beautiful."
The following rules and policies are established to
ensure the smooth functioning of the school and the well‑being of all students.
Parents and students are expected to read them carefully and abide by them:
- We are committed to providing an education that transforms lives and prepares students for the future. Once parents entrust their child to us, we accept the responsibility to guide, protect, and nurture them.
- Parents are required to give a minimum of one month’s written notice before withdrawing their child. If the withdrawal request is received after 1st April, parents will be liable to pay three months’ fees in full. The Principal’s decision in this matter is final and binding.
- Smartphones are strictly prohibited for students within the school premises.
- Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the school management.
- The school reserves the right to modify the admission procedure from time to time without prior notice.
- The school reserves the right to refuse admission or re‑admission without assigning any reason.
- Although the school takes every precaution to ensure the safety of its students, it cannot be held responsible for accidents.
- A student found guilty of a serious breach of discipline may be expelled from the school. In such cases, the institution bears no liability, and fees already paid will not be refunded.
- During admission, if the school authorities are drawn into any dispute initiated by a student, parent, or guardian, the admission will be cancelled without prior notice.
