Inter-House Cultural Fest - Debate Competition

On August 4th, 2025, Evans Hall buzzed with spirited debate as middle school students tackled the motion: “Should developing countries invest in making environmental reforms?” With support from Principal, Miss Uttara Kulkarni, the audience of Grades 7 and 8 cheered on four competing houses. Presided over by Mrs. Sharon Frederick and Mrs. Sheetal D’Abreu, and moderated by Mrs. Keren S.Hastings, the debate featured confident arguments, timed by Mr. Brett Wharton and anchored by Labesh Bhavsar. Blue House clinched victory with 171 points, followed by Yellow, Red, and Green. Best Speaker: Umang Verma, Yellow House. Master Labesh wrapped up with a warm vote of thanks, closing an engaging morning of intellectual exchange.
